Valentines Petone has re-opened.

Valentines Petone has been on the Esplanade serving millions of customers over its 15 years in business, from families, Petone locals and many other customers from around New Zealand and the world. We closed our doors on the Esplanade and re-opened the new site just around the corner in Jackson Street, the old Victoria Tavern site on 140 Jackson Street, Petone. 

The reason for the move is that as Valentines nationally are rebranding their look with fantastic new menus, furniture and fit outs we felt that rather than touching up an ageing and dated building that we start with a clean slate, in a new site.  Plus Jackson Street is now one of the premier retail strips in Wellington with a great array of stores including boutique retail and a number of hospitality venues, so it makes sense for us to be a part of the ‘cluster’, and we have been champing at the bit to get there. 

The site has 20 car parks, (combined with the fact that Jackson Street has free parking), an outdoor area, fully licensed bar and a kids play area.  The new Valentines will have a new look but still have the same great family atmosphere and great food and great service.
